Cumquat Calamondin Dwarf

The calamondin tree, otherwise called citrus calamondin, Phillipine lime, calamansi lime or cumquat, is a small evergreen tree, with glossy mid-green leaves. White, fragrant star-shaped flowers are followed by very attractive small yellow/orange fruit, which are used like lemons or limes in drinks and food, to make jams and sauces or eaten raw for a pop of sweet-sour flavour. They look lovely as an ornamental tree. They can be grown in the ground or pots and like plenty of sun, and well drained soil. The dwarf form have been grafted onto dwarf root stock, so are suitable for pots. They will grow to 1.5m depending on the pot size.
